Composition:

Cromoglicic Acid (as Sodium) 20 mg/ml

Indications

Therapeutic activity:

Stabilizes membranes of mast cells and thus prevents the release of chemical mediators of allergic reaction.

Cromo-Comod eye dropsis used as a preventive treatment for all types of allergic conjunctivitis.

Instructions

Do not swallow! This medicine is for external use only.

Shake well before use.

Wash your hands thoroughly. Tilt your head backwards or lie down on a bed. Using your finger, pull the lower eyelid down gently and then carefully place one or two drops into the gap between the eye and the lower eyelid, taking care not to touch the eye with the tip of the bottle. Release the lower eyelid and blink a few times to ensure the whole of the eye is covered by the liquid and repeat the process with the other eye.

If you think a drop did not enter the eye, insert another drop.

Wipe the remaining solution around the eye with a tissue.

To avoid contamination of the solution be careful that the tip of the bottle does not come in contact with any surface, including the finger or the eye and close the lid of the bottle tightly.

Recommended dosage unless otherwise prescribed by your doctor:

One drop into each eye, 4 times a day at specific time intervals.

The maximum daily dose should not exceed 8 drops into each eye.

In order to ensure optimal treatment for allergic inflammation symptoms, Cromo-Comod should be used regularly.

It is recommended that the treatment is continued during the period of exposure to allergen even when free of symptoms.

Do not exceed the recommended dosage.

If there is no improvement or there is worsening of your condition, contact your doctor.

This medicine is to be taken at specific time intervals.

Cromo-Comod eye drops does not contain a preservative thus do not use it longer than 12 weeks after first opening of the bottle.

Warnings

Do not use this medicine if you are sensitive to any of its ingredients.

Do not take this medicine without consulting a doctor before starting treatment:

If you are pregnant or breastfeeding.

Do not wear contact lenses during and at least 15 minutes after using the medicine.

If you are taking another drug concomitantly or if you have just finished treatment with another medicine, inform the attending doctor, in order to prevent hazards or lack of efficacy arising

from drug interactions.
