What are the reasons for vaginal discomfort?

Many women suffer from vaginal problems: Vaginal discomfort can appear at any stage of life. An unstable estrogen level or decrease may lead to vaginal changes from various reasons:

• During menopause the ovaries produce a lower amount of hormone. As a result the vaginal tissue becomes thinner and its elasticity is reduced.
• After child birth and during lactation, estrogen production changes temporarily.
• Using oral contraceptives may lead to estrogen deficiency.
• After surgical removal of the ovaries, the production of estrogen is likely to decrease.

The decrease in estrogen level leads to reduced moisture level and blood flow to the vagina.

Pain during intercourse, irritation and burning may also appear in the genitals.

What is Gynomunal vaginal gel and what does it do?

Gynomunal vaginal gel is a medical product especially developed for treating these vaginal symptoms. It renews, restores and moistens the mucous membrane of the vagina. The active complex of Gynomunal vaginal gel consists on natural substances and it protects the vaginal tissue, improves lubrication and regeneration. Gynomunal vaginal gel maintains firmness and moisture in the pre-vaginal tissue and vaginal tissue.

It can also help avoid discomfort during sexual intercourse.

Active ingredients of Gynomunal vaginal gel

Liposomes - These are tiny beads which store water within a fat coating that slowly releases them. This ensures that the vagina remains moist for an extended period. Liposomes are also able to pass through the cell membrane. This enables them to supply water to the deep vaginal tissue layers.

Hyaluronic acid - Also contributes to vaginal moisture by its ability to store large amounts of water and release it. In addition it forms a liquid layer with the following important properties:

• Protection: formation of a layer that protects vaginal epithelial cells, thereby reducing irritation and burning.
• Lubrication: formation of a layer that increases lubrication.
• Healing: assisting the renewed growth of tissue and recovery from lesions by covering and isolating the area of the damaged vaginal tissue.

Hop plant extract - Natural regulators , that found in the extract ,  provide protection and regeneration during menopausal symptoms, that appear due to lack of estrogen.

Vitamin E - is an antioxidant that protects cell membrane from the dangerous free radicals that may appear as a result of smoking stress, and increased physical effort.

Directions for use:

Screw the applicator to the tube's opening.

In order to obtain one dose of vaginal gel, pull the piston and fill the applicator until it stops (approximately half of its capacity) by pressing on the tube.

Unscrew the applicator and insert it into the vagina. Empty the whole portion by gently pressing the piston. It is recommended to apply a thin layer of gel on the applicators tip to facilitate insertion into the vagina.

Gynomunal vaginal gel must be inserted deep into the vagina by the enclosed applicator filled with 2.5 grams of vaginal gel. Insert the gel once daily for seven consecutive days (preferably at night before bed time) and then reduce to twice weekly. You can also apply the gel to the pre-vaginal area (the opening of the vagina and external genital region) to facilitate the insertion of the applicator. Perivaginal use may ease discomfort during sexual intercourse and alleviate vulvalar dryness.

Clean the applicator thoroughly after it has been used:

Disassemble the applicator by removing the piston. Wash the applicator in lukewarm water. Rub the applicator with your fingers and repeatedly fill and drain the cylinder with water. Remove excess water by shaking the applicator and drying it with a clean dry towel.

Gynomunal vaginal gel can be used with condoms.

The natural ingredients in this preparation may cause slight changes in its appearance which do not affect the quality and effectiveness of the preparation.
