Each capsule contains:

Diclofenac potassium 12.5 mg.

Package contains 20 liquid gelcaps.

Indications

Voltaren Acti-Go is an analgesic that belongs to the category of Non-Steroidal Anti-Inflammatory Drugs (NSAIDs).

It intends for short-term treatment (up to 3 days) of headache, toothache, menstrual pain, joint and muscular pain, back pain and fever reduction, in adults and adolescents over 14 years of age.

Instructions

Do not chew! Swallow the whole liquid gel cap with water, preferably before or in between meals.

Take the lowest dose possible to achieve the desired effect.

Recommended dosage in the absence of specific physician instructions:

Adults and adolescents over 14 years of age: 2 capsules with the appearance of symptoms. If necessary, continue with 1-2 capsules every 4-6 hours as needed.

Do not take more than 6 capsules in a 24-hour period. If the symptoms persist, consult a physician.

Do not take more than the recommended dose.

Do not use this medication for pain relief for more than 3 days without consulting a physician.

This medication is generally not intended for use in children under 14 years of age.

If your condition does not improve within 5 days for pain and 3 days for fever, contact your physician.

Do not take two doses simultaneously.

Warnings

Do not use this medication if you are sensitive to any of its ingredients or to Diclofenac.

Do not use this medication if you had a previous allergic reaction to other medications used to treat pain, fever or inflammation, such as Diclofenac, Ibuprofen or Acetylsalicylic acid (a substance used to prevent blood clots formation). Symptoms of an allergic reaction may include asthma, wheezing, skin rash, facial swelling and runny nose. If you are uncertain, consult your physician.

Do not use this medication if you are in your last trimester of pregnancy or breastfeeding.

Do not use this medicine in the following cases:

If you suffer from a gastric or intestinal ulcer.

If you suffer from bleeding of the digestive system. Symptoms may include blood in the stool or black stools.

If you suffer from severe liver or kidney disease.

If you suffer from severe heart failure.

If you have recently undergone or are planning to undergo heart surgery.

Do not take this medication simultaneously with other medications of this category (NSAIDs).

Do not consume wine or alcoholic beverages for the duration of treatment with this medication.

Do not use this medication frequently or for a prolonged period of time without consulting a physician.

Perform blood, urine, liver function and kidney function tests if you take high doses of the medication.

If you are about to undergo surgery (including dental surgery), you must inform the physician about using this medication.

You must inform a physician if you are about to undergo laboratory tests since the use of this medication may influence the results.

The medication may diminish signs of infection (headache, fever) and make it difficult to diagnose the infection. If you do not feel well and seek medical attention, you must inform the physician about using Voltaren Acti-Go.

The medication contains lactose and may result in allergic reactions in people suffering from lactose intolerance.

Do not take this medication without consulting a physician prior to commencing treatment:

If you are pregnant or planning to become pregnant.

If you have previously suffered from gastric discomfort or heartburn after taking analgesics or anti-inflammatories.

If you suffer or have suffered in the past from impaired function of: the respiratory tract (e.g. asthma or allergy), the heart and/or vascular system, hypertension, swelling of the legs, problems of the liver, kidney/urinary tract, gastrointestinal tract (such as an ulcer, bloody or black stools), ulcerative colitis or Crohn’s Disease, the circulatory system (such as coagulation and Hepatic Porphyria) or another circulatory disease, if you are at risk of dehydration (as a result of an illness, diarrhea, pre or post surgery).

If previous use of NSAIDs or other analgesics resulted in serious side effects.

If you are taking other analgesics or anti-inflammatory drugs, including acetylsalicylic acid (Aspirin), corticosteroids, blood thinners or SSRIs.

If you suffer from nasal polyps or connective tissue diseases.

If you are taking diuretics.

If you are over 60 years of age.
