Revamil

Hydrophilic wound gel that consists of pure honey for the assistance of treating various types of wounds.

$27.00

Revamil is a hydrophilic wound gel that consists of pure honey, that intended for the assistance of treating various types of wounds and has been produced under controlled conditions. The carefully controlled production process guarantees that Revamil does not contain any traces of pesticides and that the same quality can be reproduced consistently. The honey used to make Revamil contains a high proportion of honey enzymes such as glucose oxidase. Revamil should be used in combination with semi-occlusive wound dressings that guarantee a moist wound environment and that can be attached in the normal way. The highly concentrated sugars cause some of the wound exudate to mix with Revamil gel. The resulting layer helps to strengthen the antibacterial protection provided by the dressing.

Indications

Revamil wound gel is an adjuvant in treating chronic sores (bed sores and different kinds of ulcers), infected wounds, acute wounds, oncological wounds and minor (first and second degree) burns.
